Hi, I'm Matt


I'm not your typical yoga teacher.

All those people you see in magazines holding their big toe out in front of them or with their leg behind their head? Not my style.

I can’t do the splits and I can barely touch my toes. But I can help you find ease in your body, mind and spirit. 

I believe that yoga is the ideal practice for building a healthy relationship with your body; a relationship that can change your life.

I teach yoga because that first class blew my mind. I’ve been where you are—tired, achy, lethargic, and stressed. I had no idea what yoga could do for my physical and mental health until I tried it. And I’ve never looked back. All I had to do was take that first step. 

I’d love to be there when you take yours.

✔ You’ll love them once you realize how they work out all the aches and pains in your hips and shoulders (or anywhere else, come to think of it).

✔ I’m all about slow and gentle. No crazy up and down or yoga burpees, er, sun salutes. Heck, in some classes you may not even get off the floor!

✔ And those people you see on Instagram twisted like human pretzels? Not my speed at all. You can experience a deep stretch without all the acrobatics.

✔ I’ll guide you around your body so you can discover what it—and you—are capable of (it’s more than you think).

✔ If you like quirky humor, you may even laugh (which is totally okay in yoga).
